The bidding isn't closed yet so you could add a few more, unless of course you've used all your budget on those five players. If you have then you'll definitely get them all.

HFTB and Bhavesh, I need two further bits of information:

1. Team names (something that is related to your username is ideal)
2. Team colours (2 that contrast nicely please)

Now that I've got the idea of bidding can someone explain the scoring system. Having looked at last years thread I'm totally confused. After that the working of the transfer system.

Scoring details:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18RcFiJU_NyvP3P0rv_wslPvFdDLZ6TjxRWYdUf1URD8/edit#gid=1863631625

This is a scoring sheet from a game last season between Boycotts Bashers v Makhayas Misfits. For new players this year (and a reminder for others) hopefully it will give an idea of how things work.

Matchweek XIs will comprise of the first eleven players (from top to bottom) who play any part in their counties game that week. Those that do no play are rather boringly denoted as DNP.

Team scores are calculated by dividing the number of runs your eleven players make between them by the number of wickets taken by your opposition. This will give you your Runs per Wicket (RPW) total.

Wickets taken by bowlers count as one, with dismissals taken by wicket-keepers counting as half. The team with the highest RPW total will win the match and take the 16 points. If the totals are level (highly unlikely unless it is nil-nil after a washout) the match will be drawn and teams will take 3 points each, with 8 bonus points added, to give a Matchweek total of 11.

From the example you will see that the Bashers wickets taken total is 13 made up by 9 wickets for the bowlers and 8 dismissals (4 points) for the wicket keepers.

Bonus points have been altered this year.
Teams that win matches will be able to take their weekly points total up to a maximum of 24 points with impressive performances with both bat and ball:

4 points will be earned for scoring 600 runs or more.
3 points will be earned for scoring between 500 & 599 runs.
2 points will be earned for scoring between 400 & 499 runs.
1 point will be earned for scoring between 300 & 399 runs.

4 points will be earned for taking 30 wickets or more.
3 points will be earned for taking between 25 & 29 wickets.
2 points will be earned for taking between 20 & 24 wickets.
1 point will be earned for taking between 15 & 19 wickets.

From the example you will see that the Bashers scored 26.18 RPW, and took 0 batting points but 2 bowling points. The Misfits scored 39.38 RPW, and took 3 batting points plus 1 bowling point.

The Misfits therefore won the match by 20 points (16 + 4) to 2 (0 + 2)

Over the course of the 18 Matchweek season the team with the most points overall will win CFM 2015.

Transfer window details:

Managers will be able to change up to 5 players from their squad during each of the 2 transfer windows, which occur between Matchweeks 6 & 7 and 12 & 13. Managers will post/PM details of the player(s) they wish to release prior to the window opening. I will then post a list of all available players for the draft. This will include these players recently added to the Telegraph game: if anyone then wants to suggest any other players that might be playing county cricket during the latter part of the summer, they can post them at the time.

Replacement players will be allocated via a draft, with the team bottom of the league after Matchweeks 6 & 13 getting first pick in each round, and the team top of the league getting last pick. For the first draft round I will ask posters to select 10 players each in pick order. I am hopeful this will enable the number of draft rounds to be reduced from the 5 required in previous years. I will, however, make sure there is enough time to run all five rounds if necessary :)
