it seems that no matter how far I shove Foakes down the order, he keeps being in my active team

and keeps failing miserably with the bat

I keep coming up against ridiculously good performances, 2 weeks ago Lyth and Peterson scored over 400 between them, this week Magoffin and Ajmal took about 15 wickets between them.

My players performances aren't good enough, no matter how solid.

Indeed!

My weekly failures seem to be usually as the result of one player from the other team doing something spectacular.

Last week it was Topley taking a thousand wickets in his only game of the season, and a couple of weeks before that, I got Batty'd. I was beating Red comfortably in our match until day 4 when Will Gidman took a 6fer, and none of my bowlers bowled

I've gotten used to it by now

but I do have a plan for next year........... and I think it's a good one........ or at least I hope it's a good one
