it gets worse...

so many of my team aren't playing that the active XI went down as far as 19th on the list. Lees was 20th. the man ahead of him? Foakes.... his contribution? 1 run............ obviously

I really have trouble working this game out..... I bring in Gregory, who gets injured before I can even play him. I drop Leach because he simply wasn't getting a look in for Worcs.... next match he plays and takes a 5fer. I bring in Herring because I haven't enough keepers in my team and he's being doing okay for Gloucs........ Gloucs promptly sign Jones on loan from Kent and Herring gets the chop. I give up on Jaques because he isn't scoring enough runs and doesn't contribute anything else........ he immediately scored 100 runs in the first match he's missed for me

I have, however, worked out a winning strategy for next year. I'm clearly not going to tell anyone what that strategy is............ but it's a good one, I assure you. Be very afraid next year........ and no changing the rules in between
