Only that the corresponding Friday next year might well be the inaugural hundred match - and I very much expect it to be a washout. Live on the Beeb no less

They'd have to show some stuff from the archive - the last time they had the rights to televise live cricket, the England attack comprised Caddick, Mullally, Giddins & Tufnell - so hopefully from a bit earlier than that...

I thought this was footage from the last time the BBC had any cricket on it
