Durham, Paul has scored 130 points in one match now. I had Bangladesh and Ireland as favorites to pass on to Super 10. Hence i selected Shakib and Paul.Zimbabwe imo, was their toughest opponent so Ireland are more likely to progress to second round. In that case the tactics of selecting all rounder Paul might turn to be a very good move.

Paul Stirling got experience of this condition in Bangladesh premiere league 2013 and iirc i had him in my 11 when i won that BPL FL.He will earn bowling points as well as batting points on these wickets.Also if Ireland progress Paul gets to bowl against England,New Zealand and South Africa who will give him some wickets/eco rate points. The other players from associates who were on my mind were Abdur Razzak,Brendan Taylor (who too did well in BPL) and Mushfiqur -Had doubts that Zimbabwe will struggle so dropped idea of selecting Taylor for 3 matches.Stirling was more likely imo to earn more points that Abdur Razzak and Taylor.Didn't want more than 2 associate players so had to miss out on Abdur Razzak in particular who was also likely to get more matches in Super 10.
