Sussex starts Round 2 and selects another of our discarded players from 2021, Nichoas Pooran. He finished 8th that year, can he do better this time out.

Arthur is next up and gets his first choice candidate, a newbie to our Lists, Adam Zampa.

Now to The Professor who manages to pick up his next choice, Pathum Nissanka - the second Sri Lankan who will be in our List this year.

MIB gets his first choice player too, in the form of Saim Ayub.

After everybody else has got their first and second choice options, Ginger has to go quite deep for his second choice. He has been deprived Liam Dawson and Jasprit Bumrah and manages to bag an all-female duo adding Nat Sciver-Brunt to Annabel Sutherland.

Durham completes his first ever Harmer-less team by adding Wanindu Hasaranga (yet another Sri Lankan) to his team.

RT certainly have a heavy hitting duo adding Suryakumar Yadav (3 time Cricketer of the Week in 2023) to their rank.

Red Devil selects Sam Curran from the winning team from 2024 to add to Liam livingstone in an all English team.

The Professor Senior means that we will not be Smith-less in 2025. We will lose Steve but he bags Jamie Smith for his inaugral seaosn.

Andy also had eyes for Bumrah but ends up with Kane Williamson - a suprise return for the New Zealander that rather underwhelmed in the 4 years he featured on the List.

DD hopes to make a twofer adding Heinrich Klassen to his team for 2025.

The final player selected is Rishabh Pant who bombed out of the List in 2022 in a life threatening accident but returns for a further year.

And that makes up out 24 for 2025.

He stopped playing domestic SA cricket a couple of years ago, but it didn't affect his points scoring unduly. This year was just a bad one for him. It was a cold, cold Spring which accounted for half the county season, then there was the stupid kookaburra thing for chunks of the county season, but really he just didn't have the impact that he has had in the past as often as he used to. Maybe he'll do great again next year, but I figured his time was up. Last year was a huge drop off in results
