not the most auspicious start for a comp that has already had the number of matches drastically cut

Only playing one match a day doesn't seem quite so smart when there have been less than 7 overs completed in 2 days of prime TV scheduling

still..... the IPL would see that as a marvelous sequence of advertising opportunities. Maybe in Australia it allows lots more time to fit in tributes to Wee Davey the Hero

another FL, another of my players who can't get in the team despite playing every game last year. Looks as though Hayden Kerr has been relegated to 3rd choice spinner, despite picking up enough points last year to warrant me picking him again. This is every FL atm, for me

however, on the plus side, match 5 has reached the 7th over and no-one has tried to call it off yet, so...... yay!

it has always seemed inequitable to me that one team can walk out to play their first match in a tournament against a team walking out ostensibly to play their third. I've never understood this sort of scheduling
