Less than a day left to make team changes without utilizing replacements. Captaincy changes will be the key in deciding the winner.

Captain changes for the T20 Global Championships

Captain changes are unlimited throughout the competition and can therefore be changed prior to the scheduled start time of the first match of the gameday.

No changes are allowed in between matches when there are 2 games on a day. Ensure that your captain is changed prior to the first game of that gameday in such cases.

Your captain scores will score double points for the team.

Those selectors choosing wrong captain or not having a captain for every match day will not go far in this competition imo.

Yes, because it's the only match on the first Super 10 round day. If you don't select a captain from any team, cricinfo will not allow you to submit the team.

On March 22, there are 2 matches. However, every one can only have one captain for that match day. Even though if someone selects captain from the second match on a match day , in this case England versus New Zealand, the captain change has to be done prior to the first match ( South Africa versus Sri Lanka)

Number and Division of the Transfers for the T20 Global Championships

You can make up to 30 transfers for the first phase + 4 transfers for the second phase during the course of T20 Global Championships. T20 Global Championships will start on 21st March 2014, 13:30 GMT & end on 6th April 2014, 21:00 GMT. The first phase lasts from March 21 to April 1st. The second phase starts from April 3rd and lasts till April 6th.

This time they have reduced the transfers, so have to select proper team right from the start. Can't afford selecting likely non performers and waste transfers.

righty ho, adi :salute

cheers, I hadn't noticed that. I guess we have to change skipper every day then.

I should have read the rules.... it seems very batsman orientated........ any bowler selected (and I like my bowlers as most will know) will lose points if he has an econ of 7 or above, which seems unduly harsh, and will have points for wickets devalued if he picks up any lower order wickets at the death, which seems even harsher

I note that batsmen don't get their runs devalued if they have a good old flog at the end, so not sure why bowlers shouldn't be allowed to benefit if the opposition batsmen blow it early doors. :hmmm
