I notice other posters bidding on McKay, Dilshan, Meschede and Shahzad - the tie at 2nd round was between me and Ian - and therefore in this round it was a straight contest between Ian and me as to who bid the highest for that player. I don't think they go back onto the open market - since any bid in round 2 can't be topped by other posters in round 3 (who didn't bid for that player in round 2).

On that basis, Ian and I already came to an agreement earlier in the day (based on the alternating rule) as to who should have got which players and the bidding reflected this

I don't think they go back onto the open market - any other bid in round 2 can't be topped by other posters in round 3 so there is no reason why all other posters should be able to bid on players who had tied bids in round 2. Therefore, Ian and I already came to an agreement (based on the alternating rule) as to who should have got which players really.

This is correct:

Round 3

In this round the leading bidder from Round 1 can respond to the Round 2 bids by bidding £10,000 more than the highest Round 2 bid, if they choose to, and will automatically win the player.

Any player who didn't receive a bid in round 1, but multiple managers bidded for in round 2, can be bidded on again by anyone who bidded in round 2. The highest bidder will win that player.

Anyone who hadn't been bidded on prior to this point will go to the highest bidder after this round.
