I thought Sammy was doing half a comp, with Brezza taking over

I'll look into it. You could be right. When Bresnan was signed, I'm pretty sure it was to replace Sammy.

What I've uncovered doesn't make sense. Bresnan is replacing Sammy, who will be taking part in a WC boot camp for the West Indies, starting mid December... which is about now. But then reports say that Sammy will be taking part in the first half of the tournament. Eithr way, I wouldn't be picking Sammy, unless he smashes 200 runs in the opening game and takes 5 wickets.

Do you have a link? Given that all the Windies players at the BBL are playing in the World Cup squad, it seems unlikely that only Sammy would be taking part in this camp....

Maybe Sammy and Bresnan will alternate, given how hit-and-miss Sammy can be.

The next focus for the WI ODI side will be a series of ODIs in South Africa, starting on Jan 16....
