I always think that if a player earns his points, then he deserves his points.
There does seem to have been a lot of toing and froing this season. Keeps me on my toes quite a lot.
The only thing that really worries me is if a player plays more than the allotted number of team matches as a result of moving to a team that is playing one week, from a team that isn't, and then back again, although I imagine that that is very unlikely.

That will give me a great chance of picking injury prone players. Not a bad idea but with 5 reserve players as well. If a county has a injured player they can bring someone in, surely a FL team should be able to do the same.

Durhamfootman wrote:I disagree. I think it's to be expected that some players will pick up injuries, whilst others will get international call ups. It's a 'long haul' FL, so you can lose a player to injury for a bit and still recover. If, for example Pakistan was to suddenly call up Ajmal tomorrow, then he'd still have netted 1335 points for whoever had picked him, which would be a decent return for someone who'd stayed fit and played in all 16 matches for his county.

If Graeme Smith had notched up 1335 points before he went home I'd be a happy man.
