N.B. Calculations do not include today's T20 between Australia and India as I had to press go a little earlier than normal.

Weekly Top 5

1. Harry Brook - 239 - In a week of relatively modest scores (both for England and for our players) Brook blew the roof of with the only 200+ score of the week.

2. Nat Sciver-Brunt - 174 - A disappointing end to her first foray into international captaincy. She has scored 648 points across the tournament though so she has had a decent personal campaign.

3. Saim Ayub - 97 - Another alright-ish performance for Ayub. He has, at least, broken his slump of ducks with 37 runs against South Africa. He backed this up with two wickets.

4. Annabel Sutherland - 73 - A rather ignominious end to the World Cup for the player who has scored the most points over the 5 weeks of the tournament (783)

5. Ravindra Jadeja - 66 - A surprise turnout for Saurashtra saw Jadeja register a satisfactory little 66 against Madhya Pradesh.

Overall Top 5

1. Sam Curran - 4199 - A meagre return for Curran in his return to the ODI side as he scored just 33 runs in the only completed match. His lead on second place remains on 345 points though.

2. Jos Buttler - 3854 - Scored just 33 points for England this week and just about holds on to his second-place berth that might have been threatened should things have panned out differently in the Women's World Cup.

3. Nat Sciver - Brunt - 3794 - The gap between NSB and third place that it took the whole of the World Cup for her to just nip into that position on her final week of action. Now has week off before WBBL action for Hobart.

4. Liam Dawson - 3762 - Inactive this week and down a place to 4th - his lowest position for 18 weeks.

5. Ravindra Jadeja - 3325 - Holds fifth spot with absolutly no pressure below him for at least a fortnight where Sutherland could mount a late WBBL resistance.

other Mobvers

Both Adam Zampa and Jamie Smith scored very meagrely this week but managed to move up a spot; Zampa to 22nd and Smith to 14th.

Top 3 Averages

1.Chamari Athapaththu - 151,53
2. Sam Curran - 149.48 (Down from 154.3)
3. Annabel Sutherland - 145.48 (Down from 149.1)

Different fates awaited two of our young Englishmen this week. Brook improved the most (up 5.57 points to 116.57) whilst Smith moved down the most; leaking 5.18 points to 111.35.

Weekly Top 5

1. Yashasvi Jaiswal - 323 - After his huge score against West Indies in his last active week, Jaiswal went one better for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy with 223 runs scored over two innings.....and a maiden 20 points for a wicket to boot.

2. Saim Ayub - 293 - Hard to know whether this a decent score or not. 293 is not to be sniffed at but was scored over two T20Is and two ODIs so could have gone huge. Moves him up to 13th - a 3 place improvement on last week.

3. Rishabh Pant - 177 - Has made his return to cricket for the first time since the England Test series as he turns out for a very strong India A outfit. Bagged 107 runs ...very unequally balanced. Doesn't remove him from the foot of the table, however.

4. Babar Azam - 157 - A welcome return to some decent run-scoring for the ex-Pakistan captain. He still lacks the consistency that used to be his hallmark, however. Moves up a place to third from bottom.

5. Suryakumar Yadav - 145 - 45 runs separated across three T20Is isn't any great shakes but both of them came at lightning pace to help boost his score with 80 Strike Rate points.

Overall Top 5

1. Sam Curran - 4266 - 17 runs and two wickets in the final ODI against New Zealand sees him get 67 runs in what has been a disappointing series.

2. Jos Buttler - 3912 - A decent series in New Zealand could have seen him take top spot....lamentably he only got 105 across the series.

3. Nat Sciver-Brunt - 3794 - Inactive this week but should be back in WBBL action before our next update.

4. Liam Dawson - 3762 - Another inactive week but a cushion of 437 protects him from fifth place.

5. Ravindra Jadeja - 3325 - Inactive after his Ranji Trophy cameo last week. Luckily for him the nearest active player to him is 628 points away.

Other Movers

Travis Head only got 64 runs but manages to nudge up to 17th place.

Ones To Watch

The bottom four is remarkably fluid at the moment with only 87 points between Bumrah, Azam, Zampa and Pant.

Top 3 Averages

1.Chamari Athapaththu - 151,53
2. Sam Curran - 147.1 (Down from 149.48)
3. Annabel Sutherland - 145.48

Jamie Smith is our biggest loser for the successive week. He leaked 5.06 points today to add to his 5.18 from last week. Brighter news for Jaiswal whose bumper week sees him up 9.7 points to 119.27 a week.

Weekly Top 5

1. Wanindu Hasaranga - 189 - An all round performance courtesy of a three-fer and a half century from the Sri Lankan. Rather tells the tale of his year that this score of 189 is his highest weekly score of the year. For context, the average highest score for the year is 269.64.

2. Rishabh Pant - 169 - Improves on his third place finish last week despite a lower points score. Also jumps a huge three places on the table off of bottom spot. Next up, a Test versus South Africa.

3. Chamari Athapaththu - 92 - Two games this week for the Sydney player. In one she performed with the bat....with the other the ball. Needs to combine those for a really big haul.

4. Nat Sciver-Brunt - 75 - A rather underwhelming performance for NSB this week....perhaps best shown by the fact that 40% of her points came in the field.

5. Babar Azam - 49 - 29 runs and 2 catches in the first ODI against Sri Lanka. Just enough to see him edge into a very low scoring Top 5. Contradictingly he has moved down a place Overall to 22nd.

Overall Top 5

No movement again this week. For the third successive week our Top 5 looks like:

Sam Curran 4266
Jos Buttler 3912
Nat Sciver-Brunt 3864
Liam Dawson 3762
Ravindra Jadeja 3325

Sciver-Brunt doesn't do enough to move into the Top 2 but may do next week whilst Jadeja holds off Sutherland by 223 points.

Top 3 Averages

1.Chamari Athapaththu - 147.81 (Down from 151.53)
2. Sam Curran - 147.1
3. Annabel Sutherland - 141 (Down from 145.48)

A tale of two Sri Lankans today as Hasaranga moves up the most (+4.32 to 98.27) whilst Nissanka moves down the most (-4.96 to 123.2)

Re: 2025 All Year Fantasy Competition

Postby The Professor » Fri Nov 21, 2025 3:18 pm

After some lean weeks all bur 6 of our players featured this week with 1920 shared between them.

Weekly Top 5

1. Jasprit Bumrah -211- Surprising to say but Bumrah has been something of a disappointment this year. And I don't think we can just blame injury. 211 is his highest score of the year and it sees him rise to 22nd Overall.

2.Ravindra Jadeja - 205 - A complimentary performance with both bat and ball for Jadeja....he did not scare massively with both but when you put them together it is enough for him to get second.

3. Babar Azam - 196 - Finished in the Top 5 last week and now the Top Three this. Dare we dream of a resurgence. The 2020 winner of Cricketer of the Year moves up to 4th from bottom with this week's performance.

4. Wanindu Hasaranga - 185 - Last week's 189 was his best score of the year and he follows it up with only 4 fewer this week. Really is enjoying his time in Pakistan...even if he did lose his contract with Rajasthan this week.

5. Saim Ayub - 145 - Another deceptive week for Ayub. 145 is decent. Fifth place is decent....but this is from three games....for that it seems a little underbaked.

Overall update

Despite 3 of our Top 5 being in action this week, our Top 5 remains unchanged as:

1 Sam Curran 4266
2 Jos Buttler 3912
3 Nat Sciver-Brunt 3888
4 Liam Dawson 3797
5 Ravindra Jadeja 3530

264 points were split (incredibly unevenly) between 3rd, 4th and 5th ....but those gaps are still pretty notable.

Ones to Watch

Big question of the week is whether Ayub can use the Pakistan/Sri Lanka/Zimbabwe tri series to propel himself into the top 10. He is 4 points off 11th, 74 off 10th and 166 off 9th. All eminently possible.

Other Movers

Livingstone posts 141 this week in the Abu Dhabi T10 to see him move up a place to 19th.

Top 3 Averages

1. Sam Curran - 147.1
2.Chamari Athapaththu - 142.24 (Down from 147.81)
3. Annabel Sutherland - 143.13 (Down from 141)

Jasprit Bumrah is the biggest beneficiary this week - up to 92.6 - an improvement of 6.23. Athapaththu moves down the most but still has the second highest overall.

It's the actual Aussie season, and Adam Zampa still can't get a game.

Only Williamson, Zampa, Curran and Buttler not in action this week as we see our second highest week of point scoring of 2025.

Weekly Top 5

1. Ravindra Jadeja - 280 - For the second week in a row an Indian player graces the top of the List despite their humbling defeat to South Africa. More points with the ball than the bat this week for Jadeja.

2. Phil Salt - 252 - Might denigrate Phil Salt's achievements in the Abu Dhabi T20 but across his 5 games this week he has scored above 30 in three of them and scored at a Strike Rate above 200 runs a ball. That's not nothing.

3. Travis Head- 204 -His match winning knock against a very poor England team feels like it was worth at least double his 204 points this week.....but rules are rules and here he sits. He didn't even move off 18th place overall.

4. Babar Azam - 180 - Three innings for Pakistan this week; two bad ones (16 & 0) and one very good one (74). 4th places seems about right for that. Moves up a place to 20th as a reward too.

5. Pathum Nissanka - 173 - Was a whisker away from his second T20I century but was not to be. Backed it up with two underwhelming performances with the bat in 2 matches against Pakistan to squeak into 5th.

Overall Top 5

1. Sam Curran - 4266 - Inactive for a third week. His cushion in first place snow 259 points.

2. Nat Sciver-Brunt - 4007 - Has been chipping away at the top 3 since the start of the World Cup and finally overhauls 2nd place despite an unassuming 119 this week,

3. Jos Buttler - 3912 - Inactive and MIGHT just be inactive for the rest of the year. Might he finish the year outside the Top 5.

4. Liam Dawson - 3847 - 50 points this week saw him only just hold on to 4th spot. It has been 26 weeks since Dawson was outside the Top 4.

5. Ravindra Jadeja - 3810 - The highest score of the week only moved Jadeja away from 6th place by a dramatic margin. The 489 points between him and Sutherland is the largest gap on the List.

Ones To Watch

There are two pairs pf Cricketers all within one point of each other who will be playing this week. Firstly Delhi's Phil Salt will look to reel in Melbourne's Annabel Sutherland in 6th. Meanwhile Titans' Heinrich Klaasen will want to hold off England's Jamie Smith to hold 15th.

Other Movers

Klaasen moves up two places into 15th whilst Hasaranga edges into 14th.

Top 3 Averages

1. Sam Curran - 147.1
2. Ravindra Jadeja = 141.11 (Up from 135.77)
3. Annabel Sutherland - 138.38 (Down from 143.13)

Jadeja skips past third place to become the second highest player in terms of average. Athapaththu drops out of thetop three after leaking 7.91 thanks to a shortened WBBL game.
